Dr. Alouf has received his Mastership with
International Congress of Oral Implantologists!
Dr. Stephen Alouf is a native of Roanoke, Virginia and resides in the Valley with his wife and two daughters. He attended Virginia Tech and earned a B.S. in Biology.
Dr. Alouf received his Dental Training from Virginia Commonwealth University / Medical College of Virginia, School of Dentistry. He is a member of The American Dental Association, The Virginia Dental Association, The Roanoke Valley Dental Society (Past President), The Big Lick Study Club (A Seattle Study Club), Dental Implant Associates of North Carolina and is a Master in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Dr. Alouf is also a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and The Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation.
Dr. Alouf has dedicated himself to continuing education and is committed to delivering the most advanced and comfortable Dentistry in a modern and friendly environment.

Dr. Kalpita Patel, Associate Dentist
Dr. Kalpita Patel is a native of Southwest Virginia. She received her B.S. in Biology from the Univeristy of South Carolina at Columbia. She received her M.S. in Anatomy at Virginia Commonwealth University in 2000. Dr. Patel received her dental training from Virginia Commonwealth University, Medical College of Virginia, School of Dentistry in 2004. Dr. Patel also completed a General Practice Residency at the University of Virginia in 2005.
Dr. Patel joined Alouf Aesthetic Dentistry in June of 2006. She previously practiced in Kingsport Tennessee in the Friends in Need Dental Clinic. She is an active member of the American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, and the Roanoke Valley Dental Society. Dr. Patel generously donates her services to Mission of Mercy locally and abroad in India.
Dr. Patel's enthusiasm and knowledge make her an asset to our team. She is committed to continuing education and cutting edge dentistry. She is a welcome addition to our practice.
Donna Ayers-Dental Treatment Assistant
Donna has been a dental assistant since 1990 and has worked with Dr. Alouf since 1999. Donna is a warm and caring person and enjoys patient interaction. Her calm chairside demeanor puts even the most anxious patient at ease. Donna has completed the Dental Assistant Implant certification program of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and The Association of Dental Implant Auxiliaries and Practice Management. Donna lives in Buchannan with her husband Tommy, and son Thomas. Her daughter, Kimberly, lives in Greensboro with her husband and daughter, Addison, and son, Braden.
Stacy Cornett-New Patient Coordinator/ Registered Dental Hygienist
Stacy has worked as a dental hygienist since 1999. She joined Dr. Alouf in 2003 and has continued to grow professionally. Stacy 's position as our New Patient Coordinator ensures that every new patient to our practice experiences a relaxed and comfortable comprehensive evaluation. She coordinates each patient's customized treatment plan with the attending doctor and Treatment Coordinator to provide personalized care. Stacy takes pride in getting to know each patient so she can fulfill their desires. Stacy has completed the Dental Hygiene Implant Certification Program of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and The Association of Dental Implant Auxiliaries and Practice Management.
Stacy and her husband, Jason, live in Christiansburg and have a daughter, Layken, and a son, Ashton.
Shelly Koon-Registered Dental Hygienist
Shelly has worked as a dental hygienist since 1986. She joined Alouf Aesthetic Dentistry in 2006 and has become an integral team member. Her technical skills are unsurpassed and her chairside manner is warm and caring. Shelly is dedicated to patient motiviation and education to increase patient awareness and oral health. To maintain the high standards Shelly sets for herself, she is very involved in continuing her education in all aspects of dentistry. Shelly has completed the Dental Hygiene Implant Certification Program of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and The Association of Dental Implant Auxiliaries and Practice Management.
Shelly lives in Salem with her shih tzu dog, Hazel Anne Koon.
Sheri Martin-Patient Account Manager
Sheri joined Dr. Alouf's team in 2000. Sheri maintains our patient's financial accounts as well as acting as our treatment and insurance coordinator. Her goal is to provide patients with financial options to best suit their dental needs. Sheri's dedication to Alouf Aesthetics and our patients make her a valuable asset. She works hard to help our patients pay for the dentistry they need…and want! Sheri has completed the Practice Management Implant Certification Program of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and The Association of Dental Implant Auxiliaries and Practice Management. When not tackling the financial world of dentistry, Sheri is dedicated to her husband, Gregg, and her two amazing boys, Nate and Drew.
Lisa Carr-Practice Administrator/Treatment Coordinator
Lisa joined Dr. Alouf in 2004. She was a welcome addition and brought much needed growth to the practice. Her cutting edge ideas and infectious positive attitude have helped create a wonderful treatment environment. Lisa maintains office policy and heads case presentation and treatment planning. Lisa has completed the Practice Management Implant Certification Program of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and The Association of Dental Implant Auxiliaries and Practice Management. Lisa has received her Certification in the American Association of Dental Office Managers and networks daily to make sure her dental team is the Best! Lisa lives in Salem with her husband, Greg, daughter Megan, and sons, Matt, and Josh.
Ashley Hanson-Special Projects Coordinator, Dental Treatment Assistant
Ashley joined us in August 2007 bringing twenty years of dental experience to Alouf Aesthetic Dentistry. She has spent the last fourteen of those years at Roanoke's Bradley Free Clinic as Director of Dental Services. Ashley's passion for dentistry and learning led her to our clinic where she can utilize all that dentistry has to offer. Ashley has completed the Dental Assistant Implant Certification Program of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and The Association of Dental Implant Auxiliaries and Practice Management. Ashley is in charge of coordinating our volunteer projects such as the Mission of Mercy and other local volunteer dental missions making sure our Mobile Dental Trailer is fully stocked and ready to serve those in need. Ashley lives in Roanoke with her husband, Todd, and daughters, Erika and Kendall.
Marie Price- Patient Concierge
Alouf Aesthetic Dentistry is proud to introduce Marie Price as our Patient Concierge. Marie's smile and energetic personality is the first person our patient's meet when they arrive at our clinic. Her warm and friendly demeanor can put even the most anxious patient at ease. Dentistry is not new to Marie, she brings over ten years of dental knowledge and experience to our practice. Marie has completed the Practice Management Implant Certification Program of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and The Association of Dental Implant Auxiliaries and Practice Management. Marie's job is to make our patient's feel comfortable, but she makes them feel like family! Marie lives in Christiansburg with her husband, Ricky.
Rhiannon Aesy- Dental Treatment Assistant
Rhiannon joined our practice in the summer of 2007 as an intern for dental hygiene. It did not take her long to discover the exciting world of implant and cosmetic dentistry! Rhiannon has dedicated herself to learning every aspect of dentistry and patient care. Rhiannon has completed the Dental Assistant Implant Certification Program of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and The Association of Dental Implant Auxiliaries and Practice Management. Her smiling face and charm have endeared her to our patients and our dental team. Rhiannon is a true asset to our clinic! She is also a part-time student enrolled at Virginia Western.
Tracey Bourassa- Clinical Coordinator-Dental Treatment Assistant
Tracey brings twenty-four years of dental assisting experience to our practice. A native of Albuquerque New Mexico, Tracey trained as a dental assistant in the United States Navy and retired to private practice after 22 years in the military. Tracey's knowledge and experience have allowered her to excel here at Alouf Aesthetic Dentistry, where she expedites excellent patient care in all areas of our practice. Tracey also serves as our Clinical Coordinator, ensuring our team meets the highest standards our patients deserve! When not working, Tracey enjoys outdoor activities and time with her husband and family. We are truly fortunate to have her as a team member.
Introducing Joe Kraft: Scheduling Administrator
Joe joined our practice in July 2008 and brings a fresh, exciting, and dynamic approach to maintaining our busy schedule. Joe's attention to detail and his desire to please our patients is unsurpassed. When Joe is not managing our schedule, he puts our quarterly newsletter together, making sure our patients are always kept up to date on what is new in dentistry! Joe is a true asset to Alouf Aesthetics and we are still discovering how he will help us grow! Joe enjoys working on his vocal career and spending time with his family when he is not with us!
Meet Sarah Schupp: Registered Dental Hygienist
Sarah joined Alouf Aesthetic Dentistry in 2008. Sarah completed her Dental Hygiene Program at Virginia Western Community College in 2008 and graduated on the President's Honor Roll and Dean's List. Sarah performs advanced Periodontal Therapy as well as general hygiene services for our patients. Her warm and caring manner are only surpassed by her clinical skills. We are extremely lucky to have Sarah as a member of our team and her professional performance and dedication to patient care tells the story of a long and successful future in dentistry. When not working Sarah enjoys spending time with her boyfriend Sean and her family at Smith Mountain Lake.
